Biography
Dr. Poudrier graduated from the Université de Montréal (M.Sc., supervisors Dr. Pelletier and Dr. Montplaisir) and at McGill University (PhD, supervisor Dr. Owens). She pursued her postdoctoral studies in immunology, first in London at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School (RPMS) with Dr. Gray, and then in Geneva at the Geneva Biomedical Research Institute, later Serono, with Dr. Kosco-Vilbois. After a 6-year research associate with Dr. Jolicoeur at the Montreal Institute of Clinical Research (IRCM), Dr. Poudrier joined Dr. Roger’s team at the CHUM Research Center. She began her academic career in the Department of Microbiology, Infectiology and Immunology at the Université de Montréal, where she is now an Associate Clinical Professor. She is the author of more than 40 publications dealing mainly with dendritic cells and B lymphocytes, both on murine models and on human specimens.
