Caroline Quach

Biographie

Dre Caroline Quach est professeure titulaire dans les départements de Microbiologie, infectiologie & immunologie et de Pédiatrie de l’Université de Montréal. Elle est professeure associée au Département d’épidémiologie, biostatistiques et santé au travail de l’Université McGill et collaboratrice scientifique à l’École de Santé Publique de l’Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Elle est l’officier en Prévention & Contrôle des infections (PCI) du CHU Sainte-Justine où elle est également microbiologiste-infectiologue. Dre Quach est clinicienne-chercheure, supportée par le FRQS (chercheure boursière de mérite) et titulaire de la Chaire de recherche du Canada, niveau 1, en prévention des infections. Ses intérêts de recherche sont en prévention des infections : tant nosocomiales que celles évitables par la vaccination.

Dre Quach a été la présidente du Comité consultatif national en immunisation (CCNI) de l’Agence de santé publique du Canada de 2017 à 2021. Elle a été la présidente de l’Association de microbiologie médicale et de maladies infectieuses, Canada (AMMI Canada) de 2014 à 2016. Elle a été reconnue comme Fellow de l’Académie canadienne des sciences de la santé et de la Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. Dre Quach a été sélectionnée comme l’une des Femmes les plus influentes du Canada en 2019 dans la catégorie Sciences et technologie (2019 Top 100 Award Winner in the Manulife Science and Technology category).
